SOS Pen Pals  featured on Animal Planet on January 12, 2004 at 8:00 p.m.

During the summer and fall of 2003, Animal Planet sent a film crew to the James River and Pocahontas Correctional Facilities to film the inmates working with the animals for their new series "Cell Dogs".

The hour long presentation showcased the dedication and patience of both inmates and prison staff as they work to save the lives of formerly unadoptable animals.
